About Our Specialists

Maya Napocalypse first woke up on December 12, 2012 to a world oddly unchanged from December 11th, but has been looking to help change things for the better ever since.

Dominique Easterling‘s avatagraphy started June 23, 2009 as a young, prim based citizen.  She has worked her way through the BoMing of SL and the meshy confusion that followed.

Kai Arkright started his explorations March 23, 2009 wandering from sandbox to sandbox looking for things to do.  He continues looking and will share some of those explorations with us from time to time.

iSkye Silvercloud came to us May 12, 2009 and found herself on an island where her first friends were a 1920’s transplant with blue-hair, a dead ghost, a tin man, and a dinosaur.  She has worked with Rockcliffe University, VWBPE, Virtual Abilities Island, Burn2, and is a frequent contributor to LEA, SLB, Rock Your Rack, and other areas.

Trent Karfield grew his first fur April 11, 2009 and opted for a major makeover in 2019 when, amongst other things, put on some glasses.  He is a bit of a digital naturalist as well as howling lunatic.

Dirk McKeenan, the venerable “elder” came to be on March 20, 2009 in a flurry of questionable freebies and bad fashion choices.  He has worked with Rockcliffe University, VWBPE, Avacon, and been part of the roadie crew for SLCC, OSCC, and other digital events, just to make the rest of us, except for iSkye, look lazy.  He bumped  into Kai during both of their early sandbox days and have kept in touch ever since.

Odessa, “the traveler,” joined our team of contributing writers in 2010 with tales of real world travel with an ethereal  touch of fantasy.  She takes us to places that truly exist, but with a view that rivals some of the best fiction writers we’ve known.

Things To Know

Our site is new, but our collective experience goes back quite a few years.  Our friends and acquaintances are from many disciplines and histories.  We are also looking for new friends and experiences, so let us know what you think and want to get more information about!

Most of the folks here have an uncomfortably “deeper than average” familiarity with technology.  They also work to keep each other’s digital feet on the virtual ground.  It doesn’t always work, but you can help keep us all in line.  We will occasionally touch on “behind the curtain” tech topics, but never shy away from calling us to task on giving the useful part in plain English.

While much of the work here will be in Virtual Worlds, we also welcome a look at the physical world that we all live in.  Odessa brings her own unique view of some wonderful places she has visited and takes us on a journey to see the world through her eyes.
